Elegant carved watermelon paired with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries on a serving board.
# What You'll Need:
→ Main Fruit
01 - 1 large seedless watermelon, ripe and firm
→ Berries & Accents
02 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
03 - 1 cup fresh blueberries
04 - 1 cup fresh raspberries
05 - 1 cup fresh blackberries
06 - Fresh mint leaves for garnish
→ Optional Additions
07 - 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
08 - 1 cup pineapple chunks
09 - 1 lime, sliced for garnish
# How to Make It:
01 - Wash all fruits thoroughly under cool running water and pat dry with paper towels.
02 - Cut a thin slice from the bottom of the watermelon to create a flat, stable surface for placement on serving board.
03 - Slice off the top third of the watermelon lengthwise using a sharp knife to form an open boat shape.
04 - Using a melon baller or sturdy spoon, carefully scoop out watermelon flesh, reserving balls or chunks in a bowl. Leave approximately 1 inch of flesh attached to create a sturdy shell.
05 - Return scooped watermelon pieces to the hollowed shell and mix with half of the prepared berries.
06 - Artfully arrange remaining berries and optional fruits around the carved watermelon on a large serving board or platter.
07 - Top with fresh mint leaves and lime slices for visual appeal and aromatic enhancement.
08 - Serve immediately at room temperature or refrigerate until ready to present. Arrange on serving surface just before guests arrive for optimal freshness.
